Award winning tenant is flying the flag for British Wool
Meet Sarah Turner and her multi award-winning business Little Beau Sheep. You may have already seen her on BBC’s Countryfile.
Set up in 2015, Little Beau Sheep celebrates the best of British wool through a unique range of hand-made laundry and body care products and continues to go from strength to strength. From signature wool laundry dryer balls to felted wool soaps and laundry fragrance, the collection offers an innovative eco-friendly take on everyday cleaning tasks. We love Sarah’s products and the fact environmental impact and British produce still remains at the centre of her business.
Little Beau Sheep are passionate about flying the flag for British wool and are proud supporters of the Rare Breed Survival Trust and The Campaign for Wool - described as ‘a miraculous material’ by none less than Prince Charles, British wool has an amazing history, especially in Yorkshire. Little Beau Sheep is based in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales so Sarah finds the International Development Centre in Ilkley really convenient. Bizarrely the Centre started off life as the International Wool Secretariat's Technical Centre so it’s wonderful to have a link back to the wool industry.
You can find out more about Little Beau Sheep’s products and Sarah’s story here. It’s interesting and inspirational.
We are delighted Sarah is a tenant and we can see her business grow from such close quarters.
